How do your two water bottles differ?

The difference is mainly the insulation. Both bottles use a vacuum plus a thermal coating, and both hold 25 hours cold and 13 hours hot, with no preheating. The sports bottle has a smaller opening, so less heat escapes.

The second difference is the design. The stainless steel water bottle is somewhat wider, features a wood detail on the lid, and comes with a carabiner attachment. The sports water bottle is much slimmer and fits standard bicycle holders and daypacks.

Does the thermal coating come into contact with the contents or me?

No. There is no coating on the outside you touch or on the inside of the bottle. The thermal coating sits on the outer wall of the inner body and consists of a copper layer. Your drink only ever touches food-safe 18/8 stainless steel.

Is it tested for lead?

Yes. It is independently tested for lead under the US CPSIA, and we retest every year. You can download the current report on our certificates page. No form, no account. All seals are food-grade silicone, BPA-free.

What can I engrave on my product?

You can add names, dates, short messages, or company logos. Just enter your text in the customization field.

Which products can be engraved?

The lunch box, both water bottles, the insulated food jar and the travel mug. The salad bowl is the one we do not engrave. The travel mug has no separate listing yet - see Corporate Gifts.

Is engraving included in the price?

Yes, all personalized engravings are included, no hidden fees.

How durable is the engraving?

We use industrial-grade fiber lasers to engrave each item. The engraving will not fade, peel, or rub off.

Can I preview my engraving before purchase?

We show a sample layout before production. For large orders or corporate branding, we offer mockups upon request.

How long does engraving take?

Express Engraving: order by 1 PM PT and we engrave it the same day, in our own facility in CA. After that, the next business day.

Can I return personalized items?

Engraved items can not be returned, so take a moment with the preview. Everything else has 60 days.
